Best Western Clemson SC area. Room so contaminated opened windows, slept on short sofa. Staff could care less. Bed so painful, could not use. Best Western Provo Utah--- contaminants so thick on floor threw out my shoes. Asbestos? I was not feeling well with injured eye, horrible contamination.

We booked a night at the Best Western near Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee. We got in at 1 am after a very long drive. I had 3 children with me, one which is disabled. When we arrived, the clerk was asleep on the couch. He took my credit card and told me I hadn't paid but I had. I used another card and was billed for the night and an incidental fee that totaled 200.00. I recieved my key card and took the kids up so I could unload. After a couple loads, I started seeing doritos in different spots on the floor.
Then I seen pills and an open pin on the floor..among other things. I went into the bath and there were urine marks and pubic hair on the toilet. I was so disgusted, I went down to ask the clerk about the room. He was asleep again and wasn't very happy but showed me another room that had malt balls and trash on the floor. He witnessed it as well and offered to show another but I asked for a refund instead. He told me he couldn't do that and I would have to come back tomorrow. He went outside to smoke and I packed up the kids and agreed to come back. The next morning the clerk informed me that the manager wasn't there and he proceeded to call him, came back and gave me the obvious runaround. We have tried to get our money refunded but they refused.
And I was double charged. I am so upset and disgusted over this. Very unprofessional and nasty. I have pictures to prove everything. I want my money back on both cards. We were not there an hour..
Such a disgrace!

Joined the rewards program back at the…

Joined the rewards program back at the end of 2020. There was a promotion going on that if you stayed 2 separate nights as a rewards member you would get a free night. I stayed the 2 separate nights and was never given my free voucher. I called 3 times and kept being told to give it time if it didn't show up in a few weeks to call back. This scam rocked on until the voucher time expired! Best western quite the scam! My wife and I will no longer spend our date night money on you!

Having sent a complaint to Best Western…

Having sent a complaint to Best Western and to bookings.com and having not received any replies therefore I thought I should share my recent experience with a Best western Hotel in Sofia Bulgaria.
The hotel name is hotel Lozenets 23 Sveti Naum Blvd, Lozenets, Sofia, 1421 Bulgaria. Our reservation was for the evening of the 2nd April 2021. At midnight on the 1st April Bulgaria announced it was extending its lockdown restrictions due to coronavirus hence all shops restaurants etc would be closed and only essential travel was permitted. The reason for our trip was to celebrate my wife and daughters birthdays, because of the restrictions it made it almost impossible for us to now travel. Early morning on the 2nd I contacted the hotel to ask if I could change the date of our intended visit and was told I would have to call back later and talk to the manager. In the meantime I contacted booking.com who rang the hotel who declined to change our dates as it was their policy not to. I then rang the hotel to ask them why they would not during a pandemic adjust their rules to accommodate me and was told by the manager that she would not change the rules and she could not help me and I could hear her laughing to I assume a colleague. I find it appalling that during a time of emergency that people cannot help others but are happy to mock them and their misfortune. A hotel chain of this magnitude should not be employing people like these and should be taking huge steps to ensure behaviour like this does not occur. If it is a Best Western hotels policy not to allow people to change dates then I'm extremely disappointed in them. If hotels are permitted to run their own policies how can they call themselves Best Western as i would have thought that the credibility of the chain relies on standards and uniformity. I have used Best western including hotel Lozenets in the past but I will certainly not use them in the future. As a very large hotel chain that cannot be bothered to respond in any fashion tells me that the only driving factor behind them is greed. Goodbye Best Western you have lost another customer and I do hope that the rude manageress one day gets her comeuppance.

Five star quality. Three star pricing.

Most pleasantly surprised when I booked a stay at the Best Western in Burnsville, MN. Burnsville is not exactly a top travel destination and I was traveling for business, so I did not know what to expect.
Customer Service: could not be better. The front desk team was accommodating with everything I could have wanted -- from a great recommendation for a local lunch spot, to using their freezer, to a late check-out. Nothing was a problem; I was never inconveniencing anyone.
The guest room was spacious and comfortable.
Their in-hotel restaurant was excellent. Again, the servers were friendly. The food was five stars.
If I return to Burnsville, the Best Western will get by business.

Best Western PLUS Ruby's Inn Manager just does NOT CARE

When we booked this room for two of my adopted Korean daughters and their visiting Mom and myself, I was acting on a guarded 'recommendation' by neighbors. They told me that we had a 50/50 chance of getting treated well! I said that we were touring the southwest so would only be at this BW "Plus" for a single night - how bad could it be?!? Well folks - we found out!
As we said when we made our reservation, we arrived fairly late. We first went to the Bryce Canyon park itself and saw the sunset over the canyon and then returned to the hotel to get our room. The girl at the front desk was reading a book as there was no one else in sight. Great. I told her that I had a reservation (BTW with the nicest person I had ever spoken to = EVAN). I asked her for a quiet room if possible as I had driven and hiked and driven all day - We were all 'pooped'. We carried all of our 'stuff' to our room in an out-building and then headed back to the main lodge for dinner. We walked into the lodge and the desk lady pointed to their restaurant where we found the host reading a book - do you see a pattern here. There was not another single person in the (beautiful) restaurant. We asked for a menu and saw this was NOT the place for burgers and such. The host said that next door was a nice cafeteria/fast food kind of place with great burgers. THEY ARE SUPER = nice choices and very reasonable (under $10) prices. The counter girl couldn't have been nicer. Our food was AWESOME and we got more fries included with our burgers that I have EVER gotten and they were great. Okay folks - the good review ends here...
We decided to 'star-gaze' and returned to the park for a couple (cold) hours and it was worth it and then back to our room. We all decided to just go to sleep that is until the party from hell started in the room above us!
After half an hour I called the front desk asking for her to PLEASE ask those above us for a little consideration - her response; do YOU want to change rooms? NO, it is 11 p.m. and we are all in PJs and unpacked. Result = party continued! Earplugs all around and we got some sleep... until about 6 a.m. when every kid in Utah decided to run up and down the stairway above and adjacent to our room. I got up and asked the kids to politely STOP!
Sure, that worked, NOT. I went into the bathroom for a shower and the shower knob/handle fell off in my hand - so I had to use a finger nail clipper to partially screw it back on. When I looked around there was paint peeling and very rusty door hinges. I finished my shower and then noticed a partially eaten candy bar on the floor behind the door that was NOT OURS. A partially eaten sandwich was also found on the bedroom floor!
I asked the kids and their Mom to pack up and I headed to the main lodge to ask for a manager. I went in to the empty registration area and asked the very sweet girl behind the desk (Amina) to call a manager. She asked if she could help me, and I began explaining what a lousy room we were stuck in and the food left in corners and she apologized and said their manager had a very strict order "not to be bothered!" I asked if there was anyone that I could talk to and she asked me to take a seat - sure. About 15 minutes later a large guy in a suit came down the hallway aiming right at me. The first thing he said was "What is your problem?" Not hello or hi, how can I help you but "What is your problem!" I began to tell him about our room issues but he cut me off saying "You have 2 minutes and you are NOT getting your room refunded, so forget that" I said the only thing I wanted to know was why we were put in the lousy room we got! He said that he was VERY busy and didn't have time for me so I should take it up with customer service or anyone besides him and began to walk away!
I asked how long he had been the manager here and he loudly said I have been here since 2007, AND THIS IS MY HOTEL! The most arrogant management-type I have ever encountered!
We had our 'free' breakfast' of scrambled eggs and a slice each of toast and bacon served by the nicest waiter! I asked how he liked working at Ruby Inn and he said that the staff were great - like a family and when I asked about the manager he just rolled his eyes!
I know this is long but I wanted to get my $140 of complaints onto paper!

Veterans Beware we pay more !!

I searched the Internet for a Best Western hotel near me. Ok filled the blanks in received a price for 1 night Adults. I then saw a discount for Veterans or Government so I went back and applied the Veterans discount and low and behold the price went up $9. I then called Customer Service and she made a excuse that didn't hold water. I asked to be called the next day by a corporate official because this is not a mistake it's intentional ... She hung up on me... Unbelievable

Best Western Crossroads of the Bluffs

Best Western Crossroads of the Bluffs
Address: 2216 27th Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51501
The General Manager is a very irresponsible individual who does not practice hygiene and disinfection in major rooms to avoid ticks spread.
A virgin truck male driver got several bites around his neck and body due to a quick room service that should have taken more time to minimize diseases.
This GM spends more time talking to his male friends who are seen outside of the motel than to ensure the cleanliness of all his guests' rooms.
We are positive that this male GM is a homosexual by nature and is a huge trouble maker who calls the local Police to antagonize his guests or even to try to get them killed by providing a false verbal story.
He is indeed a murderer and a big liar who likes to cause trouble so his dirty Hispanic kind can get all the girls and jobs!
We are certain that this individual has broad connection with the Pilot Center for illegal local girls hook ups. They use a very clever strategy as the switch bait so he can manipulate his customers and rip them off hundred of dollars!

Price was great for where we were staying, staff were friendly enough even though they couldn’t understand us anyways ha, negative was had to keep asking for fresh towels and room hasn’t been tidied up to now and onto our 5th sleep, generous rating as giving them benefit of the doubt in case it’s due to Covid..
